November 2026 Initiative on Parks & Athletic Fields
The Santa Ana City Council needs four members to place an initiative on the November 2026 ballot to amend the City Charter and Ordinances to preclude privatization of parks and athletic fields. “Just Do It.”
It is time to stand up and Save Our Sports.
We cannot stand by idly while those in government act to privatize our public parks, athletic fields and facilities. The costs to enroll our children in sports programs will increase to a level whereby we cannot afford this vital means to enhance the future of our children. Take away the ability for our children to be involved in sports programs, and they will wander in their minds, and on the streets. Keeping our children engaged, focuses their attention on good things.
We must Stand UP, and FIGHT BACK to STOP the PRIVITAZATION OF OUR PUBLIC SPORTS VENUES.
Es Hora de Alzarnos y Salvar Nuestros Deportes.
No podemos quedarnos de brazos cruzados mientras los gobiernos privatizan nuestros parques, campos deportivos e instalaciones públicas. El costo de inscribir a nuestros hijos en programas deportivos aumentará hasta un nivel que nos impedirá costear este medio vital para mejorar su futuro. Si les quitamos la posibilidad de participar en programas deportivos, se dispersarán en sus mentes y en las calles. Mantener a nuestros hijos comprometidos centra su atención en las cosas buenas.
Debemos alzarnos y luchar para detener la privatización de nuestros recintos deportivos públicos.
